Originally from Boston, MA but raised in the Bay Area, Dre Boogs Fell in love
with dj'n in the 5th grade when he was living in Jamaica. He made his first
remix when he was 12. After graduating from high school he joined the street
team for KMEL in SF where he met the cats that would change his view of the
game. Folks like Franzen, Rick Lee, Mind Motion, and Glen Aure helped him with
the fundamentals of being a Radio DJ. Dre Boogs later accepted an alumni
scholarship to The University of Arkansas for The Walton College of Business
where he's finishing up a double major B.S.B.A in Marketing Management and
a B.A. In English. Dre Boogs joined the Shadyville DJ's in Feb 06 and started
Boogie Mix Radio that same year, a mixshow that breaks the rules of typical
syndication. The show can be heard in 8 cities across the US and in Canada
and expanding to the Caribbean soon!
Look out for his upcomming mixtape with DJ Woogie called The Aftermath and
a mixtape with The Cool Kidz in the works right now.
